How do I get around PugWriter with the keyboard?

Open any chapter, Codex entry or command by typing, and look up every keyboard shortcut in one place.

Steps

  1. Press ⌘P / Ctrl+P to open Incanta. View ▸ Incanta Menu… opens it too.

  2. Type a few letters of a chapter, Codex entry or command, for example a chapter's name.

Incanta finds chapters, Codex entries and commands.
  3. Use the arrow keys to move to the one you want and press Enter. Press Esc to close Incanta without choosing.

  4. To see every shortcut, choose View ▸ Keyboard Shortcuts.

  5. Type in the filter box to narrow the list, for example sidebar. Click an underlined name to run it.

The shortcuts sheet shows the right keys for your computer.
  6. Press Esc to close the sheet.

  7. For more room, hide the sidebar with ⌘B / Ctrl+B (outside the page you're writing in) and the Inspector with ⌥⌘B / Ctrl+Alt+B.

Click a screenshot to see it larger, then use the arrow keys to step through them.
