Refund Policy

1. What the guarantee covers

This policy is offered by WriteWith, LLC, the owner and operator of PugWriter. It covers the one-time PugWriter Desktop purchase for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Request your refund within 30 calendar days of the completed payment to receive a full refund of the amount paid for that purchase.

The deadline applies to when you send the request, not when processing finishes. There is no usage limit or requirement to troubleshoot the app before requesting a refund under this guarantee.

2. How to request a refund

1. Email support@pugwriter.com and tell us you would like a refund.
2. Include the email used for the purchase and your order or transaction number, if available. If you cannot find the receipt, contact us and we will help locate the purchase.

For a Paddle purchase, you can also use the support link in your Paddle receipt or request a refund at paddle.net. You do not need to contact both teams.

3. Payment and processing

Paddle is the merchant of record for purchases made through Paddle and processes those refunds. Refunds go back to the original payment method where possible. The time for funds to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank; a processing delay does not change eligibility for a request made within the guarantee period.

4. Access after a refund

After a full refund, the desktop license is revoked and paid access and installer downloads end for everyone using that family license. Your locally stored manuscripts and project files remain yours. A refund does not start a new free trial.

5. The free trial

The 14-day desktop trial starts on your first verified sign-in. It requires no payment card and never automatically charges you, so there is no trial payment to refund. If you decide to purchase, your separate 30-day guarantee starts when that payment is completed.

6. Your consumer rights

This guarantee is additional to your rights under applicable consumer law. It does not limit any statutory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other remedy you may have, including after 30 days.
