How do I… · Getting started

How do I change the theme and text size?

Switch between light and dark themes, raise contrast, and make the writing text or the whole window bigger.

Steps

  1. Click the gear at the bottom of the activity bar on the far left, and choose Themes.

Themes is in the gear menu.
  2. Under Color theme, click a theme in the Light or Dark column. The app changes at once.

  3. Under Contrast, drag Text contrast to make text darker or lighter. It is saved separately for light and dark themes.

  4. Under Text size, drag Editor font size to change the size of your writing, and Line height to space the lines.

Editor font size changes the page; Window zoom changes everything.
  5. To make the whole window bigger, menus and sidebars too, drag Window zoom. Reset puts it back.

  6. Close the Themes tab when you're done. Your choices are remembered on this computer.

    The Dark theme.

Click a screenshot to see it larger, then use the arrow keys to step through them.
