How do I take a screenshot of a whole tab?
Capture a long chapter, board or page from top to bottom in one picture, ready to paste into an email or a feedback message.
Before you start
- Close anything floating over the tab first. It ends up in the picture too.
Steps
Click into the tab you want to capture.
Choose Edit ▸ Screenshot + Scroll Tab.
Leave PugWriter in front while it scrolls through the tab and puts it back where you were.
The picture is now on the clipboard. Paste it wherever you need it.
To keep a file as well, pick a folder in the save window and click Save. Click Cancel to keep only the copy on the clipboard.
Click Show on the message that follows to find the file.
Check it worked
- Paste into another app and scroll the image to check the whole tab is there.
